In accordance with new custom rules persons of non-Ukraine nationality must fill in an immigration form during entrance to Ukraine.

Kyiv is ready to host European Championships
It is the first time that the European Fencing Championshipss is held in the capital of Ukraine. Kyiv gained the right to host the European Fencing Championships 2008 at the congress of the EFK on 5 July, 2006.

A meeting of Organizing Committee for Preparation and Holding the European Fencing Championship 2008 in Kyiv took place on 20 May, 2008 in Kyiv under the chairmanship of Ukraine’s Minister of Sport, Youth and Family.
