Equipment that has been rejected can be presented for a 2nd control every day from 07h30 until 18h00. Attention! The Organizing Committee reminds that foil and saber competitions will be held using STM wireless system in the following way: -Individual from tableau 32; -Team from tableau 8.
Please note that all sportsmen engaged in these competitions should have Special T-shirt for the wireless sabre or Special T-shirt for the wireless foil. Fencers are obliged to present themselves at the Weapon Checking Centre, at the time advised in the timetable of each official competition of the FIE, with the equipment they intend to use during the event referred to. The number of articles handed to the Checking Centre is limited to four weapons, two bodywires, two conductive jackets, two masks and two mask-to-jacket leads per fencer. Each competitor must submit his weapons in a fencing bag at the Weapon Checking Centre reception. An inventory of the equipment is made by an organizing official and a label is put on the bag, indicating the name of the country of the competitor. The bags are stored in the order in which they arrive, and are checked in the same order. Provision should be made for weapons and clothing to be submitted on the morning of the day before the competition. Having been checked, the material will be returned to the delegations at the end of the day. If a weapon is found to be defective at the first check a form is attached indicating the fault: e.g. the length of the blade, the insulation, the spring of the point, cutting edges, etc. This form is completed at the second check. However, when a weapon is rejected, it must go through the entire cycle again. At each weapon the equipment of the fencers of the same country must be presented at the same time inside fencing bags. Foil, Epée and Sabre equipment must be presented separately. The national logo must be printed on both legs, and the family name of the fencer and the country (three letters) must be printed in bright colour, size of the letters 8-10 cm high, FIE rules m.25. Washed-out names and nationalities are not acceptable. Only transparent masks are allowed in sabre. Logos and Trademarks on the outside of the sabre guards must be removed or covered with tape.
The foils must be presented without isolating tape on the point of the blade For Foil and Epée : only approved tips/points fixed with 2 screws are accepted. Fencers are responsible for the full functioning of their electrical equipment. During the initial weapons control there will be any electrical check namely of the adjustment of the point. (Foil and Epée). After receiving the equipment and the weapons check if it has all the weapons check marks on it. Equipment that has been rejected can be presented for a 2nd check. In accordance with the FIE rules using of transparent masks is compulsory from the table 32 in sabre and foil.
